As a club affiliated to England Hockey we will be following the guidance issued in relation to the COVID-19 virus as issued by Public Health England and England Hockey
We expect all our players and parents to read and adhere to the advice.
The key advice is that community and league hockey should continue at present, but that this will be reviewed in the light of future Government Statements about sports matches and community gatherings.
It is recommended that handshakes between players should be replaced with a gentle tapping together of sticks and umpries should be greeted before and at the end of games with a smile and a thank you.
Members are also advised to follow the public health guidance on hand washing facilities, personal hygiene and advice on self isolation if feeling unwell.
