The U12 boys were crowned regional champions on Saturday and sealed their place at the national finals on May 18th. They won in true style not loosing a single game all day and only conceded 2 goals. The goal tally was split amongst nearly every player – showing the great depth and ability the team have. They beat Old Lought’s in the final 5:1 after winning their semi final match against a very good team from Bluehearts after finishing top of their pool.
They played with great spirit and demonstrated some outstanding hockey and game awareness throughout the day – this meant they gained glowing comments and compliments from many of the opposition fans and coaches – a real achievement and something to be very proud of.
